About the Event

European cycling championships are single events in a season, sanctioned by the European Cycling Union (UEC). Winners are presented with titles of European Champions.

In 2009 Kranjska Gora hosted European Downhill Championships for junior, elite and masters categories.

In 2011 we are holding European Mountain Bike Masters Championships in Olympic Cross-country (XCO) and Downhill (DHI) disciplines. “Masters” are race categories ages 30 and above.

UEC is a continental confederation currently uniting 48 countries.

UEC sanctioned European Mountain Bike Championships are held since 1994.
